Earlier in the year, it was confirmed that Billionaire Boys Club was following up their successful NMD adidas nmd r1 Hu pairing that BBC exclusively released in November of 2017 with a new Hu Trail selection. Initial renderings of this design featured a tri-striped pattern on its upper with the word “HEART” embroidered on its midfoot in customary Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu fashion.

This early look-see sample doesn’t include the writing, but still sports the same red, white, and yellow stripes. BBC’s astronaut logo can be found toward the rear of the sneaker right above its lacing cage in gold, and the brand’s “B” logo is shown in place of Pharrell’s typical branding in navy. Available in limited quantities, and with a resell price of over $500, this was a drop that always promised to be a manic affair, with some ‘heads and profiteers seeing fit to begin queuing over 40 hours in advance.
