This watch, properly understated visually - as very close from the normal Portugieser Chronograph, to the exception of the additional pusher at 10 - was proposed for the last time in 2006 and since then, the concept of a split-seconds chronograph movement - and what an ingenious movement - on the Portugieser has been away from the catalogue. Longly awaited, this combination now comes back in the collection - but be aware that you’ll have to be fast to get your hands on it, as we’re talking about a limited edition, especially for the new IWC Boutique in Milano, Italia.

Honestly, they did a great job accommodating the group. They remained friendly and service-oriented. In the meantime, the group had a wonderful time catching up, showing rare watches, bringing back good memories, and talk about life. But watches remained at the core of all conversations, including a story about the pocket watch of a man who survived the Titanic disaster. We will share that story later with some photos.
